Stephen Bade

Stephen Douglas Bade, 67, of Cheyenne, was carried to Heaven on Angels wings on August 8 after a brave fight against cancer. Steve was born in Cheyenne on November 1, 1946 to Harry and Dorothy (Seeman) Bade. He is survived by his loving wife Kathy. Brother Ken (Linda) Bade, sister Amy (Gary) Irish, nephews; Derrick Bade and Royce Rice, niece Jennie (Mike) Benjamin of Illinois, and Sister-in-law Kris Rice. He was preceded in death by his parents. Steve was a volunteer Fireman for District #2 from 1984-1989. Steve had retired from Kmart and wore many hats after retirement. He was avid fisherman, enjoyed camping and rock hounding and was the treasurer for Cheyenne Mineral and Gem Society. Funeral Liturgy will be at St. Mary's Cathedral August 14, 2014 at 1:30pm. A reception will be held in Hartmann Hall. Officiates will be Father August Koeune and Deacon Carroll Schell. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family wishes to thank Davis Hospice Staff and all of Steve's many friends for their comfort and support.
