Mr. Stephen R. Morningstar, 57, of Hillsdale, Wyoming, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cheyenne. Mr. Morningstar was born October 22, 1954, in Miami Beach, Florida, a son of the late Darrell Morningstar and Rose (Wyrich) Morningstar Berg. Stephen served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and following his honorable discharge, he worked for AT&T in Texas and Arizona. He moved to Hillsdale in 2011 and enjoyed his involvement with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lincolnway Chapel. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Marybeth Morningstar of Hillsdale; four sons, Adam Morningstar of Hillsdale, Robert Wisehart of Mesa, AZ, Michael Wisehart of Chandler, AZ, and Davin Wisehart of Portland, OR; his brother, Michael Morningstar of Sugarland, TX; his sister, Patricia Herskowitz of Oklahoma City, OK; and six grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 10:00 a.m.at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lincolnway Chapel, with Bishop Lamont Muchmore officiating. A private interment service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Stephen's memory may be made to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hospice Division, 2360 East Pershing Blvd., Cheyenne, WY 82001.
