TSgt Stephen Ward "Vince" Vincent, USAF, Retired, 46, Cheyenne, Wyoming, died August 20, 2015, as the result of a vehicle accident. Vince was born December 31, 1968, in Oscoda, Michigan, the son of Dennis Lee Vincent and Cheryl Lynn Stephens. After completing high school, Vince followed his father into the United States Air Force and proudly served for 20 years. During his career he was stationed in Michigan, Okinawa, Japan, North Dakota, and Wyoming where he served in the 90th Missile Maintenance Squadron, where he was known as "Vinny." He loved to fish like his father and was an avid fisherman. He played the tenor sax, keyboards and guitar; an accomplished musician. He loved to play poker and was an expert player, his favorite being Texas Hold-‘Em. He loved his Crown and Coke. He loved his family and adored his children and grandson. He was a stalwart to his mother after the death of his father. He is survived by his mother, Cheryl Vincent; daughter, Jadelyn Vincent, and grandson, Kaiden; sons, Devon and Ryan Vincent; four step-children, Mandi Jones (Matt), Michael Beck, Anthony and Ashley Rutkowski, sister, Cheryl Vincent; niece, Kayleigh Abbott; nephew, William C. Vincent, to whom he was devoted; and former wife and friend, Anne Lowry Vincent. He is also survived by aunts, Leigh Stephens McCarthy, Joy Stephens Taylor, and Pamela Redmann; uncle, John W. Stephens; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis L. "Vince" Vincent and his aunt, Sherryl Coleman. A memory service with military honors will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. in the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon, and Jacoby Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Northfield, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
