Steve Meares

Steve A. Meares, 69, of Cheyenne passed away peacefully on July 7, 2011 at Life care Center with God and his beloved family by his side. He was born January 10, 1942 in Cheyenne to Ageselaos A. and Hereclea Meares. He married Patricia Cullinan-Pressnall on February 14, 1971 in Cheyenne. He was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church. He worked for the State of Wyoming as a computer programming analyst. He is survived by his wife, Trish Meares of Cheyenne; children, Michael (Roine) Pressnall of Cheyenne and their children Jason and Adrian Pressnall and Adrian's daughter, Myleigh; Dennis (Cheryl) Pressnall of Maurice, LA and their son, Michael Pressnall; Shawn (Sarah)Meares of Laramie, WY and their daughter, Emery Meares; sister, Elaine Sandidge of Lockport, LA; grandchildren, Nathan O'Grady and Brandon O'Grady and his son, Shaun David O'Grady; sister in law, Joanne Meares of Cheyenne and numerous nieces and nephews. The joy of his life was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Theresa Ann O'Grady and Koreen Marie Meares; parents, Ageselaos A. and Hereclea Meares; brothers, Gus Meares, Tommy Meares, Spiro Meares, Tike Meares, Alex Meares and George Meares. A Trisagion Service will be held 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Schrader Chapel. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be Sunday starting at 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Trisagion Service. Pallbearers will be Jason Pressnall, Adrian Pressnall, Nathan O'Grady, A.J. Meares, Cody Meares, Ryley Meares. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Pressnall, Mike Pressnall, Branden O'Grady, Michael Mores, Ben Vierson, Ron Weickum, Stu Reid, Curly Davis, Don Smith, Terry Smith, Corey Merrill, Bob Laybourn, Ron Hirst, Tom Meares, and of his neighbors and longtime friends.
