Tasha Jones

Tasha Ann (Tupper) Jones, 50, died April 18, 2016, from complications related to breast cancer. Tasha was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Bret; her daughter, Brittany Wardle, and husband Greg; her daughter, Ashley Womack, and husband Luke; and two grandsons. Tasha Ann Tupper was born to Alden Ray and Billie Jo Tupper in Huron, SD, in April 29, 1965. She resided there until the family moved to Billings, MT, where she graduated from high school. She attended the University of South Dakota, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1986. Shortly after graduation, she married Bret Jones. Early in their marriage, they were blessed with twin daughters, Ashley and Brittany. Bret and Tasha spent the majority of their 30-year marriage living in the Mountain West. They made lifelong friends in each community they called home, from Missouri to Colorado. Tasha was passionate about many things in life, but she particularly loved music, travel, and shopping. Her lifelong passion for music was demonstrated through directing the church choir, teaching piano lessons, acting as the church organist/pianist, and instilling the love of music in her daughters. Her love of travel took her all over the country with Bret, family, and friends and included infamous state sign pictures and countless stops at antique stores. Known for her strong faith and positive outlook, following her cancer diagnoses in September 2011, her first thought was that something positive must come out of this experience. Throughout the five years following her diagnosis, she shared Christ's love and His devotion and faith in the face of life's difficulties, which touched and inspired many. Memorial service will be Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home in Cheyenne with a reception immediately following.
