Born: August 1, 1944 Died: November 16, 2010 Visitation: At the family’s request, there will be no visitation. A cremation will take place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Mr. Terry M. Miller, 66, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 16, 2010, at the Davis Hospice Center surrounded by his loving family following a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Miller was born August 1, 1944, at his home in St. Joseph, Missouri, a son of the late LeRoy M. and Betty (Admire) Miller. After graduating from high school, Terry enlisted in the United States Navy and was stationed in Hawaii during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, he married the love of his life, Janet Cabe, on April 23, 1966, in St. Joseph. They lived initially in Kansas City, Missouri, and later moved to Denver where they lived until 1980 when they moved to Cheyenne to further his career with Consolidated Freightways. Terry was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, archery and golfing. He particularly loved racing and he particularly enjoyed restoring his own Mustang. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and human being, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Janet Miller of Cheyenne; three children, Roni Abeytia and husband, John, of Seattle, WA, Bret Miller and wife, Melissa, of Walnut Creek, CA, and Troy Miller and wife, Julia, of Cheyenne; a brother, Melvin Miller of St. Joseph, MO, and a sister, Rita Newberry of St. Joseph, MO; and eleven grandchildren. Memorials: Expressions of sympathy’s in Terry’s memory may be made to a cancer research center of one’s choice or the Davis Hospice Center, 6000 Sycamore, Cheyenne, WY 82009.
