Theodore Lewis

Theodore W. “Ted” Lewis, 84, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019.  Ted was born to Frank and Estelle (Horner) Lewis on April 13, 1935 in Chico, CA.

Ted met the love of his life, Barbara Cooper, in 1947 in grammar school.  They were married on September 21, 1954 in Orland, CA.

Ted embraced life with unmatched zest, enthusiasm, and vigor.  He was a self-made sailor, bowhunter, horseman, falconer, artist, philosopher, and scholar, and the best Husband, Father, and Grandfather.  His legacy is his loving family who adore and admire him and love each other without limit.  Thank you Ted for everything you have given us all.

Ted is survived by his loving wife Barbara Lewis; son Ken Lewis; daughter Mavis (Lewis) Welfl; daughter-in-law Sarvin Emami, son-in-law Randy Welfl, 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and large extended family.

No formal services will be held.
