Theodore Richard Valdez

Theodore "Richard" Valdez, aged 70, who had been struggling with an extended illness, passed away peacefully to his eternal life on May 6, 2023. Born on June 6, 1952 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Theodore will always be remembered by his nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo and Stella (Lujan) Valdez, and brother Anthony Valdez.

Theodore "Richard" Valdez was a devout man who lived his life dedicated to God and his religion. He will be remembered for his selfless service to the church and his unwavering devotion to his faith even until his last days. His passing is a great loss, but we take consolation in the fact that he has gone home peacefully to eternal rest.

The Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church located at 314 East 6th Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming on Friday, June 2, 2023, starting at 10:30 am. A reception will follow the mass. For the reception guests are encouraged to bring a dish to share. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Cheyenne at a later date.
