Tom Marsh, 74, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, went home to glory on July 20, 2015. Tom was born July 17, 1941, in Quinn, SD, on his grandparents homestead. His parents were Dorothy and Glenn Marsh. He spent most of his youth in Rapid City, SD, and he graduated from Sunshine Bible Academy in Miller, SD. In 1959, he joined the Navy. In 1961, he was assigned to the USS Enterprise CVAN65. Tom loved working as a catapult deck edge operator. After his honorable discharge 1963, he married his sweetheart from Toms River, NJ, Susan O'Carroll. They lived in New Jersey for four years where Tom, Jr. and daughter, Pam, were born. In 1967, they moved to Colorado where Tom accepted a job with IBM in Boulder. Daughter, Jill, was born in 1971 and they lived in Boulder for over 31 years, where he also worked for LEXMARK. Tom advanced from laboratory technician to Senior Chemical Engineer in his career. Tom is known for making furniture, caring for his family and teaching adult Sunday school classes. A memory service to celebrate Tom's life will be conducted on Saturday, August 8, 2015,1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
