Terry Patrick Sargent, 57, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died February 3, 2015, at the Davis Hospice Center after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on August 27, 1957, in Cheyenne. Mr. Sargent attended school in Cheyenne, graduating from St. Mary's High School. He was a veterans of the United States Navy and served as a corpsman. Patrick received his registered nursing degree in California after leaving the Navy. He left the nursing profession and attended Cordon Bleu training as a restaurant manager and then opened a catering service in Los Angeles. He later returned to Cheyenne where he was employed in various capacities, most recently as a Deputy Coroner. In 2014, Patrick moved to Boise, Idaho, as a Coroner's Investigator. He was married and divorced after 23 years. Patrick is survived by five brothers, Rick, Ron, and John of Cheyenne and their families, and Jim and Joseph and families of California; and a sister, Judy and family, also in California. He is preceded in death by his parents, D.J. "Jerry" and Carol Sargent; and nephew, Michael Sargent. Memorial services and a celebration of life are planned for later this summer. Cremation is under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
