Vern Kruckenberg

Vern "Ed" Kruckenberg, 70, of Cheyenne, passed away August 8th at his home. Ed was born July 13, 1948, in Cheyenne to Bert and Lila Kruckenberg. Ed is survived by his daughter, Dawn Kruckenberg; granddaughter, Brittany Wardell; son, Shane (Danelle) Rissler; grandsons, Christopher and Issac; sister, Teri (Keith) Stevenson; brothers, Dan (Tina) Kruckenberg, Wilbert (Camilla) Kruckenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ed spent much of his adult life in Medicine Bow, WY working as a drag-line operator for Arch Minerals. He was also co-owner of a masonry construction company in Cheyenne. Ed was an avid hunter and fisherman. Pallbearers will be Shane Rissler, Michael Miller, Matthew Miller, Keith Stevenson, Shawn Stevenson, Robert Grimm and David Grimm. Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Lakeview Chapel at Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
