Verna LaCroix

Verna M. LaCroix, 92, of Cheyenne passed away February 19, 2017 at Cheyenne Lifecare Center. She was born September 30, 1924 in Burns, WY to Clarence and Elvira Jones. She married Arthur J. LaCroix in May of 1980 in Aurora, Colorado. She was a member of Multi Listing Service as a real estate broker and vice president of Alco Realty. She attended First Congregational Church and Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She is survived by children, Jacqueline (Ronald) Gallo of Cheyenne and Richard Amberson of Cheyenne; step-children, Arthur J. (Darla) LaCroix, III of Thornton, CO, Ginger (Ron) Barkell of Pine Bluffs, WY, Sean (Kathy) LaCroix of Cheyenne and Patrick LaCroix (Michael Moore) of Cheyenne; sisters, Anna Marie Robertson of Austin, TX and Mary Lou (Raymond) Conner of Cheyenne; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren nephews and nieces. She was preceded by her parents and step-daughter, Saundra Bothwell. Those who wish may contribute to the ASPCA or Cheyenne Animal Shelter. Cremation has taken place and private family services will be held in her home. Interment of her urn will be in Olivet Cemetery. Services are under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
