A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Schrader Chapel with Nadine Korhonen officiating. Additional Services will be held in Tulsa OK. Cremation has taken place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. Violet L. Blair, of Cheyenne died February 23, 2010 at Davis Hospice Center. She was born July 2, 1933 in Bellflower, California, and was raised in Welch, Oklahoma, and moved to Cheyenne in 1971. She was an executive secretary for Atlas Construction and the Laramie County School District. She married Bill B. Blair on April 24, 1954 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was an avid gardener and bridge player. She enjoyed entertaining, and took pride in putting together the perfect holiday celebration. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and was adored by her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Bill B. Blair of Cheyenne; daughter, Rhonda Lynn Blair-Faulkner, and her husband, Tom Faulkner of Pullman, Wash.; son, Brent Blair and his wife, Kathy of Casper, WY; and 2 grandchildren, Aleka and William Blair of Casper, WY.; brothers, David Haskit of Enid, OK, Joe Haskit of Enid, OK; sisters, Ruth Rains of Sand Springs, OK, Lucille Kimrey of Lenapah, OK, Virginia Meyer of Lenapah, OK, Betty Ray of Broken Arrow, OK, Colleen Tatum of Vidan, Miss. and Linda Edwards of Canyon, TX. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Haskit; sisters, Lorna Mason and Marjorie Mason; parents Joseph C. and Lenora E. Haskit. Those who wish may contribute to Davis Hospice Center.
