Vivian Kenzy

January 9, 1913 — March 2, 2013

Vivian V. Livingston Kenzy, 100, a resident of Life Care Center of Cheyenne, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 2, 2013. Vivian was born in Tripp, South Dakota, on January 9, 1913, to Otis O. & Della Livingston. Vivian married Albert A. Kenzy on April 7, 1934, in Wind River, SD. She and Bert started their married life in South Dakota and they moved to Nebraska and lived in the Scottsbluff, Mitchell and Gering area. They moved to the Albin area in 1947, where they lived until Bert passed away in 2004. Vivian then moved to Cheyenne where she was a resident of Pointe Frontier until 2008. She then moved to Life Care Center where she resided until her passing. Vivian is survived by her son, Curtis (Darlene) Kenzy of Torrington; two daughters, Jonne (Jim) Moore of Albin, and Jacque Halsey of Omaha, NE; 15 grandchildren, Jay Romsa of Mankato, MN, Donna Wasserburger of Gig Harbor, WA, Julie Osterhout of Collinsville, Il, Lee Romsa of Wellinton, CO, Shannon Mangus of Cody, WY, Shelly Livingston of Austin, TX, Jay R. Moore of Casper, WY, David Maxwell of Eaton, CO, Nolan Kenzy of Cheyenne, Cris Kenzy of Elk Horn, NE, Jonne Kenzy of Chandler, AZ, Ted Hansen of Fremont, NE, Ryan Hansen of Ashland, NE, Theresa Freely of Philadelphia, PA, and Reid Hansen of Omaha NE; 26 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert; her parents, Otis O. and Della Livingston; a daughter, Maxine Romsa; sisters, Marie Swift, Zelda Kenzy and Marjorie Jones; brothers, Roy and Ray Livingston; granddaughter , Debbie Romsa Kolnik; and great-great grandson, Jeremiah Williams A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, March12, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Albin Community Center with Pastor Daniel R. DeBruyn officiating. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Vivian Kenzy to the Albin Baptist Church or the Albin Ambulance fund.
