Walter Patch

Walter H. Patch 81 of Cheyenne died April 22, 2013. Mr. Patch was a long time resident of Cheyenne and active in the Masonic Lodge, Korein Shrine, Frontiersmen, and was Past President of the Cheyenne Shrine Club and the First Congregational Church. He was born February 15, 1932, in Rock Springs, Wyoming, and graduated from Buffalo High School and The University of Wyoming. Mr. Patch served in the United States Air Force from 1953-1955 during the Korean War. During this time he met and married his first wife Mickey, in Highlands, New Jersey. Together they had four children. In 1973, he married Sharon in Cheyenne. Mr. Patch is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Mary, who died in 2002. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, Sister, Ruth E. Siebenthaler, children Carole Warga, James F. Patch, Peggy Jo Patche-Vind, Debbie Pecenka and Jeff Wilkey. He has 10 Grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be Friday, 10:00 a.m. at First Congregational Church. Cremation is under the direction of Schrader Funeral Home. Friends may donate to Shriners Hospital for Children.
