Walter George Williams, 90, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away October 20, 2015, surrounded by his family. Walter was born in Ottumwa, Iowa, on January 8, 1925. He moved to Cheyenne his senior year and graduated from Central High School in 1942. He also worked as an owner/operator truck driver for most of his life, but aircraft and flying was always his first love. After WWII, Walter married Clara Myers and went on to have seven children, 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Walter and Clara joined the LDS Church and were sealed in the Temple at Ogden, Utah. Walter was preceded in death by his loving wife, Clara, on June 5, 1997; and his parents, Betty Hyndman of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Walter Williams of Ottumwa. Walter is survived by all of his children, Judy Dishman, Randy Williams, Paul Williams and Steven Williams, all of Cheyenne, Janet Kienker of Kailua Kona, HI, Joaine Gonzales of St. George, UT, and Jennifer Hernandez of Firestone, CO; and a half-sister, Margaret Faye Williams.
