Obituary for Wanda Lee True Wanda L. True of Carpenter, Wyoming passed away peacefully at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne on Wednesday, January 05, 2011. She was 68 years old. Wanda Lee True was born June 3, 1942 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the daughter of Arlus and Ida (Hermann) Evans. She married Lester True on January 13, 1984 in Carpenter, Wyoming. She is survived by her husband, Lester True of Carpenter, Wyoming; her children, Brian C. Gillette of Anderson, California and Mitzi Welsbacuher of Rock River, Wyoming; three step-children, Bonnie Graves of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, Mark True of Denver, Colorado, Daniel True of Carpenter, Wyoming; two brothers, Leroy Evans of Worland, Wyoming and Gary Evans of Longmont, Colorado and three sisters, Betty Olson of Basin, Wyoming, Emma Evans of Cheyenne and Lois Birt of Ault, Colorado. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchild. Graveside services will be Monday, January 10, 2011 at1:00 p.m. at the Carpenter Cemetery with Pastor David Leastman officiating. Cremation will take place at Schrader’s Sunset Park Crematory. In lieu of flowers, family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Davis Hospice Center at 6000 Sycamore , Cheyenne, WY 82009.
