Wilbert Pickell

Wilbert G. Pickell, 82, of Cheyenne, formerly of Greeley, CO passed away on January 27, 2017 in Cheyenne. He was born January 1, 1935 in Hanover Township, Michigan to Herbert and Pearl Pickell. He married Verlie Stanbrough on April 26, 1975. He was an over the road truck driver. He was a member of the Episcopal Church. He is survived by his daughters, Deborah (Tony) Worley of Cheyenne, Beverly Watson on Lawton, OK; stepchildren, Gerald Moris of Ft. Morgan, CO, Sherri (Mark) Peryear of Centerville, VA, Larry (Laura) Harder of Tacoma, WA and Jenny Johnson of Aurora, CO; grandchildren Wilbert Jarboe, Joseph Mitchell, Paris, Kendall and Jade Griffin as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verlie Pickell; parents; children, Daniel Pickell and Shannon Pickell Griffin and a granddaughter, Nicole Mitchell. A Celebration of Life will be held February 11, 2017 at the Ranch Restaurant, 714 6th St., Greeley, CO at noon. Cremation has taken place under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
