Will Kallal

Will Kallal, 68, of Cheyenne, died on May 15 at Davis Hospice Center after a long battle with cancer. Will was born May 29, 1944, to Victor and Catherine Kallal. In 1968 he married Judy Erdmann and they had two sons, Justin and Jacob. Will graduated from Notre Dame in 1966 and earned his Law Degree from the University of Wyoming in 1969. Soon after, he became Assistant to the Wyoming Attorney General and then Clerk for the Wyoming 10th Circuit Court. After those careers, Will opened and operated Shamrock Realty. Throughout his life in Cheyenne, Will was very active serving the community. He was a St. Mary's Cathedral Trustee and also a member of the Finance Committee and Organ Committee at St. Mary's. He served as Chairman of Frontier Day's Contestants Committee as well as CFD Volunteer Fund Board of Directors. Will won several awards for his civic contributions including "Trustee Realtor Family Fund" and "Honorary Member of Senior Steer Ropers." Will was preceded in death by his mother Catherine Kallal, brother John Kallal, and his niece Jackie Kallal. Will's survivors include his wife, Judy; sons, Justin (Monica) and Jacob; grandson, William; granddaughter, McKenna; and his father, Victor; sisters, Charlotte (Roger) Sugg, Kathleen Sullivan, and Barbara (Tom) Grace; and brothers Jim (Stephanie) Kallal, Pat (Linda) Kallal, and Tom (Ellie) Kallal. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Vigil for the Deceased will be 7:00 p.m. Friday and a Funeral Liturgy will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, both at St. Mary's Cathedral. Cremation and services are under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
