William Borkenstein

William “Bill” Borkenstein, 71, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 26, 2023.  He died peacefully with his family by his side.

Bill graduated from the University of Michigan in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts. He was a diehard Michigan fan and had life-long friends from his time in college.

Bill was the Owner and President of Odyssey Tours Ltd in Kalamazoo, Michigan and planned group travel tours around the world. He traveled extensively, but his favorite place was Paris, a city he loved.

In 2002, Bill moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming and for the next 15 years was dedicated to the Real Estate market, lastly associated with Coldwell Banker, The Property Exchange. 

Bill was also a volunteer at Cheyenne’s Old West Museum and was very active with his church.

He was formerly married to Mary. Surviving are 2 sisters, Susan Fetchero and Mary Cultra as well as extended family and friends. The family would especially like to thank Joe and Kenya Cooper and Mechelle Kanzler for their care and love for Bill.
