William "Keith" Osban, 80, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, passed away suddenly on Saturday evening, March 23, 2013, at his home surrounded by both of his girls. Keith was born July 6, 1932, in Lamar, Colorado, a son of the late Roy and Myrtle (Stokesberry) Osban. Keith served in the Army National Guard of Colorado during the Korean War. Upon his discharge, he worked as a mechanic for numerous employers including Crossroads Automotive and Boeing Company. In 1974, he joined the Air National Guard of Wyoming and served 20 years as a mechanic until his retirement in 1994. His many interests included watching his daughters train horses and since 1967, he served as the Past President, Vice President and numerous other positions for the Cheyenne Saddle Tramps. He also enjoyed watching western movies, gold prospecting with his brother, Kenny, playing the steel guitar in a band with his brothers, and helping with the Cheyenne Community Christmas Program for the American Legion Post #6. Keith is survived by two daughters, Jerry Gail Miller and Jody Belle Osban, both of Cheyenne; four brothers, Ronald, Donald, Bobby and Kenny Osban, all of Cheyenne; six grandchildren, Emma, Lisa, Brian, Connie, Molly and BillieJean; seven great-grandchildren, Novan, Courtney, William Keith, Charles, Kristina, Briana and Jazmine; and his dogs, Peggy Sue and Ginger. He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Patsy (Barnhart) Osban; his daughter, Judy Lynn Tindall; and a brother, Earl Osban. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2013, from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 29th at 2:00 p.m. at the Schrader Chapel with Daniel Reisdorfer officiating. An interment service with military honors will be held at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens with a reception to immediately follow at the Schrader Reception Center.
